Israel should go ahead and fight and WIN their wars. Rather than defend until they lose. What's the worst that can happen? They lose support of American Wheenicrats, and lose the moderate Muzzies? Just win baby. If the Muzzies put down their weapons tomorrow, there will be peace tomorrow. If the Israelis put down their weapons tomorrow, there will be genocide tomorrow.

There-in lies the rub. Modern war consumes munitions at a prodigious rate-unless you fight wars the liberal way and deliberate let your own people be killed to limit enemy casualties. Israel is a small country and doesn't come close to having the industrial base needed to sustain warfare at a level that would be decisive. They have to get replacements from us. It isn't certain that Obama would. Which means Israel would either have to fight at a low level intensity where the numbers against THEM would be decisive or the conflict would drag on without resolution -but the body count goes ever higher while fools who claim to be humanitarians thump themselves on the chest about how enlightened they are.

It was even a democrat that made that quote.

A new CNN poll shows only 40 percent of Democrats support Israel's response to Hamas launching repeatedly rockets into their country.

"Although most Americans think the Israeli actions are justified, there are key segments of the public who don't necessarily feel that way," said CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. "Only four in ten Democrats think the Israeli actions in Gaza are justified, compared to 74% of Republicans and 59% of independents. Support for Israel's military action is 13 points higher among men than among women, and 15 points higher among older Americans than among younger Americans."
