A flat tax on income is still discriminatory, as is all income tax. 10% of $1 million is $100,000. 10% of $20,000 is $2,000. One person pays 50 times as much tax as another person. The progressive income tax is a Marxists philosophy. It simply means the more you make the more they take which is a regressive tax on productivity. How a capitalist/free enterprise country ever ended up with a Marxist tax system is any one's guess. Institute the Fair Tax, which is a tax on consumption, and just see how this economy takes off like a rocket. With a Fair Tax at least an individual can decide how much or how little they are going to buy and thus manage how much tax they will pay.

I am wondering about something. The journalism field is a pretty large one filled with thousands if not hundreds of thousands of writers, editors, and other assorted employees. Among those journalists there are a percentage of them that are Conservative. Even the NYT, Washington Post, and MSNBC, must have a few Conservatives, Republicans, or Libertarians on their staff. IMO it would be impossible to just hire Leftists unless the hiring managers would blatantly ask a prospective employee what his political views were (against the law I think). Now, do these non-Leftists just tow the line in their daily jobs? How can a writer or editor, who is Conservative in his thinking, write and edit Leftist propaganda?

I wonder if Michigan has a "stand your ground" right or "concealed carry" law. If so, then the Conservatives should carry. When a union thug starts throwing punches shoot him. It's called self defense.

The only voter crime, that was in this election and has been in every election, is that the entire system is bogus. Currently there is absolutely nothing in place to verify whether a voter is an American citizen or not. Since the voter registration offices and subsequent polling places do not require anyone to provide a birth certificate or naturalization then anyone can vote. All you need is a driver's license and a utility bill, neither of which proves you are a citizen. How many Americans know this or even care? Our entire country has become a propaganda scam no better than the old Soviet Union.

The only way that a valid voter identification can be carried out is proof of citizenship, as you stated. The only way that citizenship can be proved is with a US birth certificate, or a US passport, or with naturalization papers. Not a driver's license and a utility bill. Unfortunately, the American people are too dumb to figure this out. The American people think that just because you have a photo ID at the polls that you should be voting. Since nobody needs their US birth certificate to obtain IDs such as driver's licenses, then there is no way to prove anybody is eligible to vote. The biggest American scam in history is the belief that our system of voting is somehow legitimate. What a joke.

I actually believe that the Republicans and Conservatives do have a way to stop Obama. When the House of Representatives votes to cut off funds for his Marxist programs he will try to go around Congress and do things that are not allowed under our constitution. As soon as he attempts to do this impeach him. Impeachment proceedings begin in the House of Representatives and and are concluded in the Senate. Even if the Senate does not vote for impeachment, Obama and his Marxist agenda will be tied up for months if not years. That's true revenge and I love it.
