The Democrats Want You to Die

If you're concerned that you aren't hearing enough asinine statements, simply recite your own contributions. They're nearly impossible to top in that regard. Only a blithering idiot (find a mirror) belives as you do. The free market (including - gasp - insurance companies) has done a FAR better job meeting the needs of consumers, including for healthcare, than has ANY government alterantive. Are you lying your possterior off or are you so monumentally stupid that your investment in what you FEEL would ensure better healthcare actually trumps the facts about what ensures better healthcare? There is no third alternative. But, hey, thanks ofr playing!

I think your analogy is flawed. I agree with you premise but not your example. Maybe, "... like explaining 'blue' to a person blind from birth."

My dad used the car horn. If you couldn't hear it, you were too far away. What's wrong with a whistle; dog, bo'sun's or coach's? People on farms all over the country used a bell for centuries.

Kruschev invested his life in what Obama, Van Jones, Valery Jarrett, Bill Ayres and many many more believe. Then he visited a Texas Supermarket, and saw what Capitalism and free enterprise provided, in contrast to his country. He saw, at last, why his system does not work. But the above dream on, driven, I believe, by hate.
And all the money they use to attack Capitalism come from that system.

I think most liberals are not malicious, just mentally lazy They honest-to-God don't understand the philosophical underpinnings of the free market. They think the "free market" is something that greedy rich white people are trying to foist on the innocent citizenry, when in fact the free-market concept is nothing more than accurate observations about human nature.

Adam Smith's concept of the invisible hand is the best encapsulation of why individuals work hard for their own betterment, and that individual betterment is a benefit to society. In the 250+ years since Smith's observation, history has proved him correct 100% of the time.

I think you can count the founders of the country in the catagory that had that natural aversion to the idea that central authority and planning is better than the individual and free markets.
You are right, liberals must have some gene that causes them to be blind to their own contradictions and nonsense. For example, they are for "choice" when it involves abortions, but not so keen on "choice" when it comes to health care. Liberals seem to think wealth just happened and that government exists regardless of the private economy or the consent of people. I guess, if you can win a beauty contest, what we call an election, then you are like God and the rest of us just need to get over our ideals of being individuals and entrepenuers.

Easy there, Fletch. Don't stoop.

You must remember that some people have a gut understanding of the benefits of free markets, and others don't. Some people have a natural aversion to the idea that government can spend and invest more wisely than individuals, while other don't.

It happens that many of those others call themselves liberals, and are bent on making all of us follow their leader's socialist planning. Trying to explain economics, either theoretically or empirically, to liberals is a lot like summoning your children to dinner with a dog whistle.

I'm beginning to detect a theme running throughout the Democrat Party's proposals.

Actually, the theme is about as subtle as a icepick in Sicily, so I'm quite surprised that I haven't noticed it before.

OK, I HAVE noticed it before, I just haven't noticed it EVERYWHERE two or more liberal proposals are gathered in Pelosi's name.
