The planet has gotten warmer than it had been previously (over centuries - not over the last 15 years). This is not controversial and entirely to be expected during interglacial periods. Actually, the greenhouse effect, unlike AGW, HAS been empirically proved. It is nothing more than the demonstrated process by which certain atmospheric elements help the earth retain heat from the sun. While I have no doubt that 7 billion humans have SOME impact on the environment, I have equally no doubt that the actual science does not support AGW alarmism, causation has FAR from having been settled and demands to DO SOMETHING are unfounded.
