Well, gee, that link might be remotely relevant if it weren't for the fact that a) unlike Europe, the vast majority of workplaces ARE air conditioned (and were made so to attract the best workers), b) the deaths were overwhelmingly of elderly individuals not in the workforce located in their own homes (unlike the heat wave deaths in France that were primarily located in elder care facilities), and c) it doesn't change the fact that Lewis's "history" is COMPLETELY wrong and bears no resemblance to reality whatsoever. So your link simply demonstrates that there is no accurate, rational defense for idiotic union propaganda.
