Obama's Diversionary Tactics

FlaStorm Wrote: May 25, 2011 10:23 AM
Whatever diversionary tactics Obama (or his advisors) have attempted, it seems they HAVE worked..... The REAL debate over this offering by Obama, which I believe was pointed out by BN initially, is that there IS no debate, nor possible negotiations whereby Israel gives up precious land (again) and the PA gives up lengthy, generous, kind and thoughty little promises of really trying really really really hard to be somewhat less vicious, anti-semitic, and maybe someday even a little more peaceful in a really really big effort to be a tad more neighborly ... AGAIN. Despite the FACTS: #1) We've ALL heard ALL of this before!! PA offers absolutely nothing but words - that they have NO intention in honoring (Er... does that word even...

Profiles in Tolerance

Y'know, I really don't give a flip if people choose to have unconventional, bizarre of even silly sexual intercourse... but I really really hate that I have to address them by their choice to do so. Can't they just keep it in the bedroom? No... It seems like their real demand is for public display, but we aren't allowed to judge, clap, or even bet the leaders, as in other spectator sports. Seriously, I think they flaunt their sexuality to cover-up their own SELF abasement... not ours. More than tolerance, they want and need agreement, a stamp of approval, a medal (a tat or pierce?) for bravery, a parade or two..... but we needn't ever hope to silence their cries for acceptance.
I think you have missed the entire point by Jimmylynn. It is because of their government's demand to remove all religion (morality) from government that Mexico has been diminished to this pointless, directionless nonentity (anarchy) that it is today. Even Marx offered a false morality. After severing religion, he then disembodied the individual, in an attempt to create some beehive work-force, with a "for the 'good' of the hive" morality for the people to cling to. Progressives, of course, all fancy themselves to be the 'hivequeens' that DESERVE more than us mere drones and workers, else they'd never have fallen for that childish gig in the first place. In Mexico, Catholicism, an authoritarian-type religion, must have seemed...

Competing Visions of ‘Never Again’

What an amazing article.... a concise explanation, and overview of how Israel is, once again, a casualty - of the vacuous UN (sub)human rights ideology. What with the world's current trend toward economic / political collapse.... which could throw us all into anarchy ...a new Dark Ages.... and then Israel (and the U.S.?) wealth could become the target (scapegoat)..... Well, that fosters a question.... Why has Israel not invested in space expeditions? We need you a WHOLE lot more than you need us... OR that sliver of rocks and desert they PERMIT you to call home!!!
Hey! What were they thinking, that Miami-Cuban Community?!! They could have produced a birth certificate showing he was born in the U.S.A.; kidnapped; returned......... well, it doesn't rival other bc stories of late, but we're expected to believe them!! Then the Gov of Hawaii could declare he knew him and would produce the bc.... then recant, as there was none on record... Hmmm! Wonder how that Gov will 'splain BO's brand NEW one?!!! Eric will think of something.

Dictating is Easy; Leading is Hard

..they serve us because they ARE us! Great article! Great perspective! Yes, 'We the Electorate' have awoken, finally... (can any of us fault Biden?). But we had OUR happier times too, over the last 50 or so years... picking a 'Camelot' and a 'Great Society' .... Yeah, we snoozed through it all, even the pity-votes in the '60s and '70s. We aroused for a moment, in that 'Shining City on the Hill' - and responded with a dot-com revolution that scared the snot out of every prime, closet, or budding dictatorship on the planet!! Our youth had conquered the world of science!! Nodding off again, we tagged some old-school guys who were harmless enough, but they were split by a glitzy, stage-hound poser, who conjured up Pandora and the...

To: ANN ANON and SEAWOLF One thought always comes to my mind, when I hear of Jews being slandered, either in envy as 'God's chosen...' or in envy as vile, vicious, anti-Islam/NAZI... The one thought - just a one-liner, really - is always 'Not on my planet?!!' Oh yeah... I'm not Jewish nor ever related either. Because so many Jews, with exquisitely brilliant minds, have contributed grandly to my easy life in modern America; because so many Jews are blindly, stupidly, enviously maligned (even in America!!) for such vague, imaginary, self-preserving excuses; and mostly because my mind just can never grasp how centuries of world-wide murderous hatred has targeted Jews for petty vengeance - to annihilation - by nearly EVERY religion ever...

Excellent assessment!!
To: Ratas y Ratones (5:30PM) You neglect to mention why the article is an 'irritant' to you.... which could explain why we might care about your rating of the author... You also misstate the article's purpose: 'Dr. Mark' simply compares the two unions' rights to demand more pay. One from private owners who enrich themselves from players' abilities, skills, performance, etc., and one from the childrens' "village" [taxpayers] who enrich themselves from the future skills, abilities, etc, of the children.... always assuming that BOTH are properly trained. The conflict is that the players have a union, but the children do not. Yet the 'perpetrators of folks..' [unions of teachers] are making demands, and refuse to be held...
