Friday Fun: Israel vs The World

I cannot view videos. Does this one offer any explanation why Israel asassinated Hamas general Ahmed Jabari last week via a rocket strike into Gaza, thus setting off this latest round of escalating violence? 2nd try

Does the video even mention Ahmed Jabari?

Why does anyone need an explanation of the IDF's actions in this instance. The guy's a HAMAS military leader, you moron. HAMAS, & their Shi'a Hezbo counterparts, ARE AT WAR with Israel. They always HAVE been. The "Palestinians" (show me this country on a map) conduct war by rocketing kindergartens, bus stops & suicide bombing CIVILIANS. And you wring your hands about the fact that a man who undoubtedly PLANNED such actions?

You have some serious issues. But like most hard core regressives, I'm sure you have a nice streak of anti Semitism in you. Just like the HAMASniks & Hezbos you clearly care so much for...

I bet it even bothers you that I refer to Jabari as a 'general' rather than a 'terrorist', right? Hamas is the only Govt of Gaza. They are under armed blockade and oppression by Irsael, they are an armed resistance against oppressors/occupiers, much like the Irgun thru the 1930s and 1940s. Hamas uses terrorist tactics just like the Zionists did.

But Hamas is not simply a terrorist organization, like Al Queda. Hamas is a legitimate Govt of Gaza, the only one they have.

They share a border with Egypt. Why don't they bomb them? Could it be that they're not Jooos?
FlamingLiberalMultiCulturalist Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 11:19 AM
Swimware, this makes no sense.
Swimware Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 11:26 AM
Makes a lot of sense. How are they "blockaded" by Israel. Is Mexico under blockade?
FlamingLiberalMultiCulturalist Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 11:36 AM
Israel enforces a land, sea, and air blockade of Gaza. That is why they turn back ships that attempt to bring supplies to Gaza. Under Mubarak, Egypt kept it's borders with Gaza mostly closed, honoring treaties with Israel, though they looked the other way when tunnels were dug. The currrent Egyptian Govt may be different.

Israel says the blockade is against military technology, but it does things like say that concrete is military technology because you can use it to build a bunker in which to hide from drone strikes. The Israeli blockade is economic warfare by starvation.

"Is Mexico under blockade? "

So, you're saying we should bomb Mexico ?!? I don't understand you.
Swimware Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 12:04 PM
Blockades are considered acceptable in wartime by the Geneva Convention.

I'm saying that the "palestinians" self-pitying is annoying. If they wanted peace, they could have it. They don't.

" If they wanted peace, they could have it."

In 1776, the colonists could have had peace. They instead chose Liberty, and Death if they couldn't get Liberty. Does that annoy you?

MultiCultist, the Palestinians, which is a fictitious construct in itself, have never wanted peace with Israel. It has been offered on numerous occasions and they have rejected it outright. They were even offered land and territory to make their own state, but they rejected the offer, because their only reason for existence is to keep things roiled in Israel, until the Arabs can wipe Israel off the map. Trying to equate their struggle with our revolution is a typical liberal equivalency argument, lamely attempting to hide the hard facts that they will never agree to peace as long as Israel exists. There is plenty of land outside of Israel that Arab countries could easily repatriate them into as they are all Arab refuges.

To Flaming

The technology Israel used to kill Jabari is remarkably similar to the technology the U.S. has.

Amazing that a country of 7 million people could come up with that.

He says using his computer with an Intel chip.
FlamingLiberalMultiCulturalist Wrote: Nov 16, 2012 10:57 AM
Israeli technology is as sophisticated as that of the USA. And we may very well have sold Israel the missile that killed Ahmed Jabari.

Good. It wasn't wasted then.

In light of the media blaming Israel for violence in the Gaza strip this week, which is really just Israel finally defending itself against terrorists after months of rockets landing in the Jewish State, Steven Crowder has made a video explaining the situation in three minutes and gives a compelling argument about why liberals should support Israelis, not Palestinians.
