7 Political Questions for Republicans Who Support Amnesty

Your question comes mostly from anger and hatred, but it's answer is not a black & white one. Some of the services that illegals comsume are paid for by sales taxes and property taxes, and various local taxes, taxes that the undocumented pay just like everybody else. Hawkins goes all the way around the block and says just about every dumb thing that the GOP has ever said on this issue before he arrives at a GuestWorker program. I don't understand why a practical, fiscally intelligent, business-savvy organization like the GOP claims to be didn't suggest such a thing in 1986. As I said below, illegals have paid at least ten years worth of SS payments for the whole nation already, and that just to fake/stolen SS #s. A guestworker...

Illegals don't pay taxes, they claim a lot of dependents to minimize taxes taken from their pay and later claim again lots of dependent, many more than they have, some even living in Mexico, to get the child credit, cheating tax payers with thousands of dollars. Illegals know how to cheat the system even before they arrive, I should know, I see it often, because I am a Hispanic, fluent in Spanish language and I live between the two cultures.

A guestworker program would pay for itself, maybe even be profitable. We could take photo's, fingerprints, whatever. Only criminals & terrorists would still try to sneak in. Guestworkers would pay taxes, and could have reduced benefits under law. Not having run a gauntlet to get in, guestworkers would leave freely. It would be easier to keep legal guestworkers from displacing citizens out of jobs than with undocumented workers.

Republicans who support amnesty are like global warming alarmists. They can't answer the most basic questions about what they believe. Since the Republican Party is now once again considering going to war with itself over amnesty instead of trying to move the ball forward for conservatism, it seems like a good time to ask some of the crucial questions that always seem to be conspicuously ignored because the pro-amnesty side has no answers.
