Not all of our society devalues life. US EPA uses a figure of $9 million as the "societal cost of a life unnecessarily shortened". Multiplying that number by 1.2 million, the number of abortions-on-demand in the US each year, yields an annual "societal cost of lives unnecesserily shortened" by abortion-on-demand of ~$10.8 trillion, which is more than 2/3 of US GDP.
