The promise of America is equal opportunity, not equal outcome. Drop out of school, have babies in your teens without a dad, rely on gov't for subsistence, etc., etc., and you're determining your own outcome.

And I really resent the wealthy libs in Congress telling us how the rich have not paid their share.

Hypocrites all.

RelgionisforTools - what, was ReligionisforTools taken as a username or did you just flunk spelling? The human condition is one thing - marketing it to preteens is another. This is about children, not about artistic freedom. And at the end of the day, the artists are being used by the music companies.

Those of you who defend this "music" must not have any kids - cause if you did, you would worry about how we got to a state where the divorce rate is over 50%, 70% of all births are out of wedlock in certain demographic groups, a signficant percentage of the newest generation is being raised in single family homes, more and more babies are being born to younger mothers, domestic violence is on the rise, etc., etc. Unless you think those are good things that contribute to a healthy society. I understand the point that each generation pushes the envelop on the previous generation, but we are now at the point there the only thing we haven't done is to show Britney Spears being gang-banged in a video by the insane posse (downloadable...

The 'Gay Marriage' Fantasy

It's just that the gay folks have all migrated there. AND - those who aren't gay have been browbeated by the media into submission - at least vocal submission. You may get PC behavior but you will never capture their hearts OR get full acceptance.

a steady diet of "America is a hateful, biased, racist, self-ish. etc. country" since they were old enough to go to school. Especially in liberal institutions of "higher" learning. They view the world through a very different lens than you and I. While we were napping, our educational institutions were taken over by the likes of Bill Ayers, who decided if you can't beat them by working (attacking!) from outside the system, then infiltrate and reprogram from within. You have to hand it to them, they've been very successful at this. Most kids these days have never read the constitution, don't know about the federalist papers, etc.

Here's the rub - the libs have never had to experience the downside of their policies - when it...

How To Answer Obama's Plea on Health Care

It's not the "don't budge stance", it's the minimum essential provisions required to get our support stance. Sort of like the far left's insistence on a public option. Who's engaging in ludicrous emotional childishness?
foreign car sales.

Saw a car dealer on Fox & Friends this morning who pointed out that the program has significantly boosted foreign car sales - including high end models like Lexus. Tell me again why my taxes should go to help someone who can obviously afford it to by a Lexus?

Talk about unintended consequences.
