The birth canal is the gateway to exercising the "right to life", a right declared "unalienable" in the Declaration of Independence. How can anyone logically argue that an abortion does not deny someone a right to life? Does the women die if she doesn't have an abortion? Then the situation is problematic. Otherwise, there is absolutely no reason why someone who might be denied the right to buy cigarettes or alcoholic beverages; or require her parents' permission to get her ears pierced; should be appointed by the Supreme Court to be the guardian of the gateway to citizenship for every human being in the United States.
I played a country song backwards once, and my dog came back, my mother in law moved out, my truck got fixed, and my best buddy ran off with my beer.
I got one word for you, Bloomie: Bedbugs. You can make people drink 31 oz sodas, and take less pain pills than they might actually need, now get rid of the bedbugs that are putting a crimp in New York's tourist industry. You've mastered nutrition and pharmacology; entomology should be a piece of cake!
"As the president said, if you're actions result in only saving one life, they're worth taking. But I'm convinced we can affect the well-being of millions of americans and take thousands of people out of harm's way if we act responsibly." Taking a bunch of unconstitutional actions to save one life (possibly) = acting responsibly ~ A lesson in liberal speak
14 Then I myself will admit to to you that your own right hand can save you.
as in Genesis 3:5 : “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil,” which is a lie. Finally, God said to Job, when he questioned God's will in Job:40 8-14, “Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself? 9 Do you have an arm like God’s, and can your voice thunder like his? 10 Then adorn yourself with glory and splendor, and clothe yourself in honor and majesty. 11 Unleash the fury of your wrath, look at all who are proud and bring them low, 12 look at all who are proud and humble them, crush the wicked where they stand. 13 Bury them all in the dust together; shroud their faces in the grave. I believe that simply fail to understand why God allows things like this to happen - when it happens. In the fullness of time - for each one of us, including the families, friends and neighbors of the children killed at Sandy Hook, - there will come a time when we sense there was a reason for this. That will be our "Adam and Eve like test." Will we perceive the event as allowed by God for His purposes to accomplish something for us - see Romans 8:28 : And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose"? Or will we heed the Serpent, (cont'd)
Four things I can safely predict after Romney's Inauguration Day: 1) The homeless crisis re-emerges 2) The hunger crisis re-emerges 3) Demonstrators hit the streets to end the war in Afghanistan 4) Romney/Ryan must do something about the Middle East crisis by Summer.
Mitt Romney will finally be able to tap into his overflowing general election war chest and begin to neutralize Obama's huge battleground state spending advantage ... [He] will also have the opportunity to do what millions of dollars' worth of false Democratic attacks have largely failed to accomplish: Define Mitt Romney in voters' minds ... Polling from The Hill, Gallup and NYT/CBS indicates that ... [Romney] ... has a genuine opportunity to introduce himself to voters ... RealClearPolitics' Sean Trende recommended that Romney complement his "contrast" campaign (attack ads) with positive material, offering potential supporters more insight into the man they'd be voting for... Sounds like Romney has quite a bench in the Fall...
