If anyone is "empiricists" it is definitely the liberals who think they know it all. They know so much they intend to tell everyone else what they can have, what kind of toilet, light bulbs, cars we can drive, and now, medical insurance. The list goes on and on. You see, people like you are not satisfied to just live your life and make your own decisions about your car, sugar and salt intake, or your health insurance. You decide what you want and then demand everyone else do the same. That is not freedom, that's tyranny. Gov. Palin brings up a valid point religiously and lawfully "Thou shalt not kill" and murder is a crime. That's what abortion is, murder. Just because you don't agree that doesn't make a fact not a fact.

Let’s start with a shocking, but true premise: If you are a patriotic American, you believe that there are circumstances under which it is right to take up arms against your own government. That statement feels wrong to me. It reeks of militia and McVeigh and toothless loons holed up with guns in cabins in order to avoid paying income taxes.

But the fact remains that the rationale for the existence of the nation known as the United States of America, which first appeared in print 236 years ago today, is entirely dependent on the premise...
