Until I, as a male, have the equal right to get pregnant in order to avoid military deployments I don't wish to participate in, the military will remain an institution of discrimination.

Yes, but today, I heard a retired general, who is against women in combat, say that women wpuld have to be included in any draft for military service. So next? Special GYN doctors, nurses to care for pregnant women who are in the front lines? Or establish behind the lines, special accomandations for morning sickness? How long would a pregnant woman serve on active duty? Restrications? And "Oh my aching back."

I'm sure that there will be some female malingers who elect to get pregnant to escape combat just like our Secretary of State to be got himself wounded/scratched three times to escape combat. What's the difference? You afraid some female might be able to outdo you?

Depends on what a female is "outdoing" me. Now if it is a question of upstagimg me, no problem. Thank you very much, I can hold my own. Having children, all pleasure to me. Miscarriages? Courage to carry on was there for me. Flirting with my husband, watch out. Mistreat any of my children, woe to you. Betray my country? First in line to correct,. Fire a gun? Yes, but they are heavy.and my aim is poor. Vote? You bet. Chastise government? Calling them to account, no problem. Afraid, often. Proud to be an American? Absolutely and forever. Disgusted at the cult follower of Obama? Tears are shed. Solution? Reading, quoting the Declartion of Independence, the US Constitution, quotes of our Founding Father and determination.

Last Thursday Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and other U.S. military leaders lifted the ban on women serving in combat positions. I, for one, think this is a great idea and have a few modest proposals, if the brass inside the beltway is open to suggestions, on how they should deploy the dames (and whom they should deploy).

First off, if you truly want to eviscerate the enemy—namely Muslims—then I propose sending the most nerve grating and foul women Hollywood has to offer straight into hot zones as our forward armies. I’m a thinkin’ starting off with Roseanne Barr, Joy...
