For the first time in my life, I am ashamed of my fellow Americans. Folks who are too wrapped up in pop culture, twitter and the next great gadget to pay attention to how the real world works. Who can't take the time to check out what the media tells them is true and just accept it as gospel. People actually believe the "Ends justifies the means" even though that is one of the most evil concepts ever developed. They believe that the government is responsible to take care of everyone and the idea of personal responsibility is outdated and needs to be discarded. They believe that "Self esteem" can take the place of hard work. That competition and achievement are things to be reviled, taxed and avoided at all costs. Ashamed

This is what you get from a culture with no morals and total emphasis on self.

Here, here!

But, Fatal, it is too hard to try to understand the real world, and so much more fun not to.

Rather than seethe over President Obama's ongoing sequester-related demagoguery, Crossroads GPS has produced a web ad that duly notes that the cuts were Obama's idea to begin with, and pokes fun at his apocalyptic scare-tactics:

I especially enjoyed the audio clip at the tail end in which Obama laments the exhausting merry-go-round of "manufactured" crises, for which his party is almost
