I hate the minimum wage. It is an excuse for employers of minimally skilled workers, no matter how hard they work or the quality of their work, to pay only what is required by law. I don't understand why more people don't go out and find someone willing to pay more. There is always another option if you are willing to hunt for it and finding an employer who understands that incentive and merit raises increase employee loyalty and productivity is as good for him as it is for those who produce the products or services he relies on for success exist, usually in smaller locally owned businesses. Self reliance is a far better route to success and independence.
