"It would be nice if the government engaged in some honest cost-benefit analysis". This statement illustrates why the right media is so uninformed. The EPA is required to do C/B analyses for every rule. But their analyses are completely scientifically unfounded and extravagantly biased in favor of their regs. Oh wait, you wrote "honest". Define honest to a lib govt official. Crickets.

Obama imposed a big tax hike last year.

But I’m not talking about the fiscal cliff and the President’s class-warfare trophy of higher tax rates on those evil rich people. That happened this year.

Instead, I’m referring to the increase in the regulatory burden.
