No Calvin was just as dead wrong as you Arminians. The apostle Paul wrote it clearly and plainly. Have you not read his letter to the Romans? Deliverance from the just condemnation by God of all of Adam's seed and the imputation of righteousness established by the Lord Jesus Christ was not in connection with fairy tale free-will or the sinner's faith. Do you even have a clue what this means? If not, you have no part with Christ.

Most of America's problems are cultural. Even our economic problems stem from the cultural rejection of personal responsibility and the acceptance of collective responsibility. And none of our problems would be as bad if the church was still shaping the culture instead of merely responding to it. I was reminded of this during my annual holiday trip home to The Woodlands, Texas.
