JarheadRVN70, I have to agree with you wholeheardtly. I try not to say thing like this about people, but in this case I feel compelled to. Mayor Bloomberg has the mental capacity of lunch meat, and less tact than Archie Bunker.

Dr_Zinj, Would you be willing to define what you mean by "a level of human mental development"? I'm curious to know when you consider a fetus to acheived this level, and would you apply to same definition to someone who is alive now, but with diminised mental capacity.
Dorothy152, This makes me wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. Also, what happens when a student's emotional support animal bites or injures another student? Does the injured student sue the owner or the school?

The White House's "Sgt. Schultz" Defense

JB, This whole debacle of Obama's adminstration remids me of a questions that I posed sometime back. I wonder if the governemnt if being run by really smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it?
Earlier, 954 Wrote posted "Take a camera and microphone on nearly any street in America and you'd get the same reaction, maybe worse." Unfortunately, I have to agree. It seems that the people of America are becoming more and more lazy and ignorant. Reminds me of this quote: "As democracy is perfected, the office of President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."---H.L. Mencken, The Baltimore Evening Sun, July 26, 1920. Prophetic?
G-Pa Chaz, I hope you aren't expecting a reply from the pro-abortion crowd. Based on the glaring contradication involved, they can't form a logical argument, so they just hide.
McGovern, I was thinking about the very situation you brought up. How is it that the Cleveland kidnapper can be charged with murder, unless the State recognizes that the fetus is a person? And, if the fetus is a person in these cases, why isn't the fetus a person in the case of abortion? Seems like a glaring case of double standard to me. Also, it is sickening and maddening that the President is supporitng this nonsense.
magst, Yes, injuries in a gun crime are less fatal due to improved medical response. However, improved medical response does not correlate to a reduction in the number of crimes commited. And that is the point of this post. Do you care to addresss this point?

School Bans Religious Graduation Songs

AliveInHim, The FFRF is looking for any opportunity to try and appear relevant. If they weren't harrassing school districts and others about religious expressions, they would be obscure and irrelevant and that would be devasting to their egos.

Sarah266, You stated exactly what I was thinking. What happens when the song offends the Christian students? Do they get to sue the school district becasue they felt bullied or intimidated? Will the FFRF support them? I thikn we know the answer.
