Now, Ann... I installed some machinery in DuPont's teflon facility in No Tennessee some years ago. A gas leak occurred and some bolts had to be tightened. I grabbed a wrench to fix the leak but a foreman grabbed my arm and yelled at me. We had to wait up on that platform in the winter snow for hours for an off-duty union fitter to come turn the bolts. All the while were being gassed.

Finally Stossel is making some sense. Meanwwhile, alot of people are saying BHO doesn't know what he's doing. He knows EXACTLY what he is doing. And that is why he has got to go.
A major folly in healthcare, they wont let you pay cash. Hosptals and clinics say they wont bill you. Well, they do if you provide a billable address, but dont require that from immigrants so THEY get free HC. Meanwhile, hospitals and Drs offices should post signs showing thier prices for services just like auto-shops do. Check-up-$80. blood-test-$30. And they should also post which medications they provide and pricing. NO more $40 aspirin, soory! Let free-market competition dictate prices. The pharmas and ins-cos would have no choice but to play nice with citizens and HC would be rea$onable again. I saw a sign in a hospital: We provide quality HC at competitive prices. What the hell does competition have to do w/HC as it stands today?
Altho I think it is time for employers to get out of the health-care business, they must then pay that difference in salary so employees can buy thier own ins. But that wont happen: I was at an interview for a good job. We were discussing salary and I said I dont want your 401k, your stock options or your health-ins. I just want $100 an hour. The mgr stood up and said, then you dont want to work here, do ya? Guess not.
Now, Ann... actually Ms Coulter makes a good argument for consumer tax. EVERYONE pays to support these entitlement monkeys. Even the entitlement monkeys. When they realize they're paying for thier own BS, they'll go legit or go away.
If you and other commenters have had any training on how to chair a meeting, you would know Bill is simply keeping his guests focused on the issue/question. This does have the effect of putting people/politicians on the spot, but that is how you get answers to tough issues-no spin, keep them focused or they will run off the rails and try to change the subject, confusing the issue and the audience. BIll is an expert and a teacher at this and I respect it.
