Demonic Sprits- (2/2) Oppressive: These demons enjoy attacking people who are holy or basically spiritually good or kind people. People who are generally attacked by these demons are usually perfectionists, scrupulous, pious, fastidious, or strict types. These demons will tend to accentuate those characteristics of compulsive behavior in order to make the lives of the people attacked and those around them miserable. The Obsessive and Oppressive demons can be overcome or banished by prayer and spiritual counseling. Say the prayer, “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I command you, evil spirit, to leave me.”
