Concur. This stinks to high heaven, and having the 4th amendment trampled is NOT in our best security interests.

Mstancil, I like the prayer, and the sentiment! This debate about Snowden's actions is widespread- I have pals in the intel world, and many echo the analysis of Cliff May's editorial. They think there is no danger to us with their current data gathering- and we have not really been illegally "searched" by our govt. They don't think they have done anything wrong. They don't concede that the big changes that are now being made to this program indicates that there was EVER any wrongdoing. It is a real divergent train of thought here in the U.S.

You need to breathe into a paper bag. US foreign policy "spawning terrorism" is not relevant to this discussion, so go introduce it down at your next OWS meeting, on the lawn.

Could not agree more! Cliff May does an excellent job analyzing this, but he assumes we have nothing to fear from our benevolent govt. Snowden did us a favor by revealing these unlawful searches.

That's because it isn't a theory that exists, except in the mind of a campaigning politician. You need to get off your hands and go earn a living.

That is the "Rising tide floats all boats" reality. Congrats to your boss, and your company, for having good years- and remember, he's the one who holds most of the risk.
You know that he has his die-hard supporters, but more of us have woken up and realized what an unqualified fool is in office. But he's mastered the campaign playbook, and the giveaway playbook....
Concur about your UN comments. We should always be skeptical of the researchers whose work is paid for by the UN, or any other political body.
