Who's Responsible in the White House?

Sometimes it isn't Not Me, but his cousin Ida. Ida Know.
I think the slogan is "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without". "Buy it new...use it out" doesn't make much sense. I have friends who told their kids "If you want to go to college, we will provide your room and board, but you'll have to pay for the rest."
I see the "Flag as Offensive" button. Where's the "Flag as Gibberish" button?

I understand that the baby's presence in the mother's body stresses her systems and I can understand that, occassionally, it's better for the mother's health if the baby comes out earlier than anticipated. However, I cannot understand why, if the mother's health is so jeopardized and the baby needs to "leave the premises" so urgently, the doctor should pause the delivery and take the time to kill the baby before it's fully delivered. If the doctor has time to kill the child before it's fully born, then the mother's health couldn't have been that precarious. So, please, tell me what conditions would so imperil a woman that an abortion would be better for her than a C-section or induced labor.

"[late-term abortions] are needed for certain medical reasons, most of which are readily apparent..." Really? Then please tell me what those medical reasons are because I've been wondering about that for a few years now and I can't think of ANY medical reason why a late-term abortion would be better than a "near-term" delivery. Pre-eclampsia? Gestational diabetes? I had both of those and my doctor never said, suggested, or even hinted that an abortion would be the best way to alleviate those conditions.
Who's being sexist?
Your question was "how long does it take for [credit card companies] to give up and quit trying to get a few cents on the dollar?" They give up when they can find a collection agency willing to buy the debt; the collection agency is giving them their "few cents on the dollar". The status of the money you owe is that you still owe it, but to the collection agency which bought the debt, not to the company that sold it. When do collection agencies stop trying to collect? Not in your lifetime. I got a call last month from an agency trying to collect a debt owed by my brother, who's been dead for 3 years now.

Nope, Satan is one of the most attractive (people? creatures?) you'll ever meet. Even in the Garden, he took the form of a most beautiful serpent. He uses his good looks to attract people into doing evil.

I don't believe the system, itself, is the problem; the problem - as always - is the people who use it irresponsibly or even abuse it for their own personal purposes.
