Is Mitt Being Neoconned Into War?

Without his shiny new war, Romeny plans to add $3 Trillion+ to our debt. If the war is similar to the Iraq affair, it would add another $4 Trillion, but it is not similar. Iran's military is bigger, better funded, patriotic, and committed to its religious leadership. 500-600,000 Iranians live in the US (4 times the number of Iraqis); mostly peaceful contributors to society. Until perhaps their parents, wives, or kids are killed by our bombs. With soaring oil prices and a global depression, the human cost of such a war could be millions of deaths and irreparable destruction to the economy. Collapse would be all but certain. Do NOT let this buffoon or the incumbent box us into this war! It's simple: FOLLOW THE F*ING...

Somehow there is a huge disconnect in the minds of these chickenhawks here on TH. If you get them talking about welfare, they will bemoan the debt and talk about how broke the nation is. But they cannot associate that with military spending. Military spending is just wonderful and we're never too broke for a war. If you ask how we can afford the war, they will either refuse to answer or say that some things are so important that we have to do them anyway. It never seems to get through to their tiny little brains that if you can't buy the bullets, you can't fight the war.

And the concept that wars have wider economic repercussions is totally beyond them.

Cowards like you suggested hitler was a good guy as well.

Huh? Is that the best answer you can come up with? Calling me a name and throwing in a Hitler remark?

"IsraelFirsterSecond" uses the time-honored Trotskyite argument of putting words in people's mouths. "If you disagree with me, that means you like Hitler."

Reading comprehension is not a strong point for you tards eh?

Has Mitt Romney given Israel a blank check for war?

So it seemed from the declaration in Jerusalem by his adviser Dan Senor, who all but flashed Israel a green light for war, signaling the Israelis that, if you go, Mitt's got your back:

"If Israel has to take action on its own in order to stop Iran from developing that capability, the governor would respect that decision."

"No option would be excluded. Gov. Romney recognizes Israel's right to defend itself and that it is right for America to stand with it."

What does "stand with"...
