Dreams of secession? Perhaps that's too grand a dream, even here in Amerika. Perhaps if enough people simply dropped off the grid. Don't work for a "paycheck", produce something and sell for cash only. Set up your own power supply, water if you have it close enough, wind with generator backup if not. Go back to the old ways of preserving - smoking, salting, drying, and canning. Enough "makers" drop out, the "takers" won't have anything because the government won't have enough to give 'em. Impossible to organize on a large scale, just do it yourself. I'll be right there with you. Anyone need a good carpenter?
