I have a proposal for a new law I could get behind: Anyone caught committing a felony while in possession of a firearm will be shot immediately; the shooting will continue until the perp is dead. Period. No excuses. No second chances. Involved in criminal activity while in possession of a firearm? You're dead. No jury. No judge. No lawyer. Done. Finished. Kaput. By the way, no recedivism either.... win-win!

How about: if anyone is caught attempting to commit a felony against me or mine, he will be shot immediately dead?
