I still think the way forward is to give the Democrats what they want without owning any part of it. How do we do this? It's really quite simple, and Obama gave us the blueprint without intending to. Simply let whatever spending/taxation bill the Democrats put forth in the House to come up for a vote, then demand a roll-call vote. Let every Democrat vote first, each proclaiming "AYE!". Then, each and every Republican will vote "Present". Do the same in the Senate. When the economy crumbles, and the MSM tries to blame the Republicans, just point back to the vote. "You wanted it, you got it, now you OWN it!"

I agree, Ernest, with you, Seawolf and Wiseone. No guarantee of success, but probably the best chance to avoid the worst. At very least, education is the key. The oft-shown video of Barry and Boehner shaking hands is sickening, not least because it was the result of a joke and did not indicate any political agreement. All the bi-partisan tack will produce is an increased opportunity to hang more blame on the Republicans, and possibly the approval of the "Can't we all get along" idiots led by that fine fellow, Rodney King.

The liberal media will still blame it on the Republicans. If they get nothing else they will invent something out of whole cloth. If what they invent doesn't work they will fall back on "It's all Bush's fault."

When Bush was still President he was asked how he felt about being slandered as the cause of all of America's ills. He responded that he wasn't worried because history would be his judge, not current opinion makers. What he apparently failed to consider was who would be writing that history. In about 30 or 40 years, when the USA as we know it is just a fond memory, the same kind of liberals who destroyed it with their lies will be rewriting those lies and calling it "history". A history that will claim it was all Bush's fault.

When Obamacare is a complete disaster with runaway costs and death boards, they will still blame Bush for THAT, and 47% will believe them.

That sounds great Ern, but I don't think we can recover from what this commie clown has done so far, no less if he is given a chance to really implement his agenda....the man is a GD communist, he WANTS to destroy this nation..no-one could BE this stupid, not even this ghetto organizing fool. He was raised by commies and inculcated with a hatred for both the nation and whites and what he sees as the white power structure. This guy never should have been reelected or elected in the first place. He needs to be stopped, hopefully by the Benghazi murders..if the R's don't try to impeach him, that will tell me they are complicit in all of this.

Sea wolf,

There are two reasons not to impeach Zerobama.

1. There is a liberal stonewall in the Senate. The time and effort would be a total waste. The example is the impeachment of Bubba.

2. Biden is the only person that comes to mind that is less qualified to be POTUS than Zerobama. No doubt he has good intentions but the job requires more than two brain cells.

We’ve already established that no one will go to jail over $40 billion turfing of the brokerage firm MF Global, one of history’s largest bankruptcies.

MF Global died by the hand of the former Jon Corzine, the former golden boy at Goldman Sachs, the former Senator, the former Governor, the former Obama guru with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago; the sage with the Sixties beard wrapped in a custom-made Burberry suit and tie.
