He might well have won, Earl, if he'd not flip-flopped on every major political position he'd ever espoused prior to getting the nomination, thus exposing himself as a nakedly ambitious political hustler willing to say anything at all in hopes of being elected.

"He's a successful man and ran before...., and lost! American's have seen his song & dance and won't buy it in a second round attempt." You seem to have forgotten -- Richard Nixon pulled it off.

"Surely there were people who despised Kennedy with every fiber in their beings in 1962 but no one's going to finance an opera sympathetically exploring the motivations of Lee Harvey Oswald." Why not? That would be a legitimate and interesting study of both individual and societal attitudes and motives (why DID so many people, especially in Dallas, despise Kennedy?), There are many purposes for art. One is to be decorative and pretty. Another is to allow us to experience life in unexpected ways. And a third is to challenge us to think from different perspectives. Just because you find a work of art unsettling does not negate its value. In fact, that sometimes is its greatest value. A work of art does not have to be likable to be of worth.

Yeah, run Cruz instead. Why? Because the last inexperienced junior Senator with no business experience we elected worked out so well, let's do it again!
You're a poor psychologist. Stick to physics -- maybe you're better at that.
You are not much of a guesser, rm. I'm six feet even.
Tell us about your body fat percentage, Phuket.
