anon, What, exactly, would air support have been able to do? Drop bombs on the embassy? How do you do that in the midst of total chaos and with no certainty as to where our people were? If air support had used weapons, it seems to me the chances are pretty good we'd have hit some of our own guys, then Obama would have been on the hook for that. This was a no-win situation for everyone involved, both in Washington and in Benghazi.

In the handling of the economy and national security, President Obama has shown he's not capable of being the adult in the room.
