lemmi, You say "marriage is between a man and woman, the way it has been for 3000 years because its about reproducing and raising children" Marriage is a good structure within which to raise children. But marriage doesn't exist solely for breeding purposes. Many people marry who can't have children or who don't want to have them. Marriage is a specially sanctioned partnership that can have many purposes: companionship, mutual security, children, sex, financial leverage, etc.

So Barack Obama declared he's all for "gay marriage." Really, was anyone surprised? Did anyone doubt it? Still, it's official, and Obama is now the rental property of Hollywood.
