You say " remind me again how elected repubs are supposed to work with comrade hussein." The first thing they (Republicans and fellow travelers such as you) should do is dial back the rhetoric. Calling someone an idiot, imbecile, or other unnecessarily insulting name does not get the discussion rolling. Does Obama need to do a better job interacting with his Congressional foes? Yes. Does constantly vilifying him encourage such interaction? No.

eric-tuttle isn't in Congress. The question was about "elected" republicans. Tuttle is just voicing a opinion and I doubt that Obama is reading this. If you know of any "elected" republicans who have publically called Obama and idiot or imbecile you might have a point, but since they haven't, your comment is irrelevant.

Here’s an excerpt from a letter I received the other day from a college professor:

“….throughout this election I discussed with students the differences between ideologies. The majority of them are on federal financial aid. They are fine with more taxes as long as they will be taken care of. It is disturbing to hear that they are willing to spend their own money on tattoos and cell phones but cannot buy the book for class until the financial aid comes in.”
