While they are at it, they should also check their computers for unapproved access and make sure no documents are missing or nothing illegal was planted.
My theory... 1. Someone was tasked with installing listening devices in the office. 2. During the installation process, a mistake was made that would have made the forced entry obvious. 3. To cover for the original purpose of installing the listening devices, the individual grabbed a few items to make it look like a simple break-in and burglary. Bottom line, check the office for listening devices.
Let's be clear here, media polling is a tool used in order to measure the progress of their propaganda in changing opinions and attitudes. Media Polling in no way is intended to inform politicians unless it is the media using it to manipulate the politician into acting in a certain way. Polling done by politicians is done not to change their goals or priorities, but to see where they can shape and target their already existing message to the greatest affect. At no time is polling an instrument for either media or politicians to learn what the people want to be done.
Ken, OK I'm interested, but all you did was make accusations. You did a horrible job of explaning the problem. You make 4 accusations: 1. Only the well off get the benefits because the poor don't invest. 2. There are tax benefits or other subsidies that transfer the costs to the poor. 3. The financing structure is suspect. 4. Wall Street is turning the contracts into securities. Regarding the rich vs. poor accusation, I say so what. The poor don't have a lot of things the rich buy. I don't have class envy. I'm happy when other people get to realize their dreams. Regarding the tax subsidies, I agree that social engineering is a bad idea. I understand that government uses it's authority to pick winners and losers. How is this different from all of the other goverment payoffs? What is the mechanism at play here? Explain how it is that the corporations get tax breaks on the back of the consumer. Explain. The financing and Wall Street aspects are none of my concern. I don't care if Wall Street markets risky investments to the investment class. I certainly don't think solar power securities are on the same level as mortgage securities. You're comparing something really big (mortgage industry) to something really microscopic (rooftop solar). Ken, I'm interested, but please give me some more explanation as this article is pathetic.

Leonard, politics in our country is purely a profit driven enterprise where 2 sets of scam artists continuously fight for control. Be sure to only support the scam artist that has the right economic policies and forget everything else (abortion, war, 'rights', etc.). All of that other stuff is just distraction so they can continue to scam us all.

In the short term, corporate tax revenue goes to $0. It's a big number today. In the long term, there's nothing for the politician to trade against. I can't give you a tax break if you are already paying $0. Basically, it removes Washington's leverage. Also, it would fix a lot of problems. If there are fewer problems, then Washington isn't as in demand to 'fix' our problems. Washington needs problems to fix. Actualy fixing problems is counter-productive to their long term interests, so they try really hard to not fix problems but to make you think their policies will actually fix them.
More random thoughts: 1. Are the illegal immigrants being registered to vote? 2. Are they being given purple SEIU shirts and/or being connected with immigrant rights groups? If so, under what authority? 3. Has child protective services been called to investigate any potential child abuse? 4. What is being done with the children who show up without a guardian? 5. At what point will these people, being housed on military bases, be deemed hostages and Obama the hostage taker? Or do I have it backwards. We're the hostages and since we didn't give Obama what he wanted, he's allowing (and encouraging) the invasion. 6. Can we finally impeach this Obama? If not, what would it actually take?
Some random thoughts: 1. Can't someone get a court order to stop the President from doing this? 2. Why are they using planes? Wouldn't trains reduce the CO2 impact? 3. Since they are using military bases, is the VA providing the medical care? If so, do they go to the front of the line or do they get in line behind the veterans? 4. Are the illegal immigrants being issued identification or other official documents? 5. Are they being finger printed, getting a facial recognition scan, DNA, etc. so they can be correctly identified in the future? 6. Is the CDC involved with quarentining everyone who could be a potential carrier for these highly contagious and deadly infectious diseases? If not, why not? We don't want TB hitting the general population in a large way. 7. How in good concience can they release illegal immigrants into the general population if they have no where to live, are unable to legally be employeed, and have no means to sustain themselves? Aren't they just worsening the 'homeless' problem? 8. Why does this administration hate people so much?
Most of those organizations are financed by wealthy individuals. They are mostly just a sheepskin. Unions are the exception, except they don't really represent the voice of their members when it comes to politics. They are into self perpetuation and growth which in the case of public employee unions aligns nicely to the goals of the bureacracy and the politicians.
I assume that I am not speaking to criminals here on TownHall. So amassed wealth, and therefore influence, will have to be earned and not stolen. If this were a progressive website, then perhaps the stealing path would get more traction. Being a conservative website, I expect everyone to be more than happy to earn it.
