Why beat the drum for Romney? Who, by the way, is not the "clear choice" candidate Ann and BoyBoy would have everyone believe. He is, of course, MUCH better than Obummer, but then again, Pee-Wee Herman would also qualify. Even Generalissimo Francisco Franco, who is still dead. I hope the Republican primary lasts until August, to take as much airtime as possible away from the Dumbocrats. If only the Republicans would stick to the "here is why we deserve to defeat Obummer" message. Um...including you, Ann. And you, BoyBoy.
John - another glimmer of hope! But I do think you should change the title of this piece to "Another Global Warming Apostle Turns Scientist". The term "Global Warming Scientist" is an oxymoron. Scientists pursue knowledge through experimentation and objective observation and interpretation of facts. Global Warming Apostles, on the other hand, seek to silence scientists in pursuit of their socio-political goals and self-enrichment.

Thomas - insightful as always! Couldn't agree more with your assessment. I, for one, would be happy to pull the lever for Newt. As Speaker, he definitely demonstrated the ability to accomplish important things in the swamplands of DC.

Nothing is wrong with Brent, he is stating the facts. As did Jonah Goldberg and Tony Blankley in their recent articles on Newt. What's wrong with you posting the same hysterical response 14 times?

Newtzilla to the Rescue

I believe these are crazy and extraordinary times. Time to call in the Newtzilla! This article and Tony Blankley's are a breath of fresh air. Voters need to make up their own minds, and not have their decisions made for them by the establishment.

Focus Folks, It's Obama (Part 2)

Exactly, Bruce! Well said. If we want any hope of restoring fiscal sanity in Washington, job one is to get Obama out of the White House and make Harry Reid the minority whip in the Senate. Then we can focus on holding the Republicans accountable for stemming the tide of red ink and job-killing regulation.

Islamophilia

Eric446 Wrote: Dec 04, 2011 12:18 PM
It is amazing to me that of all the major religions, Islam has yet to go through any sort of enlightened reformation. Rather than "love thy neighbor", it is "subordinate, convert, or kill thy neighbor". It is more a political ideology than a religious ideology, structured to put absolute power in the hands of the clergy. And insidious enough to encourage young people to take their own lives to kill innocents in the name of Allah. Seriously, in the past several hundred years, what contributions to culture, science, the arts, or anything positive have been made by Muslims? Until a more moderate form of mainstream Islam emerges, one that encourages peaceful coexistence and secularism, let's keep them on the no-fly list.

The Strange Journey from Mitt to Newt

As for me, I would happily pull the lever for WHOEVER is running against Obummer. Not sure I understand Chapman's strategy of tearing down the front-runners for the GOP nomination. I have read some of Newt's books and seen him speak. The latter is an understatement...not only does he speak, he connects with the audience to the point of moving them to tears, then laughter, then raucous cheering. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of this country and what truly defines the spirit and success of America. Is he perfect? No. But, then again, neither am I, and neither are you. And neither, obviously, is Chapman.

Obama's Decisons are Killing Me. Really

I had severe asthma as an adolescent, so this issue really hits home for me. And the Keystone pipeline, well, that should hit home to everyone in the U.S. who drives a car or is looking for a job. Just two more reasons to add to the long list of why we need to seriously downsize our metastasizing and out-of-control federal government. it is enough to make you sick...or kill you...literally.
