Like promises of spending cuts later in exchange for tax increases now, promises of border enforcement later in exchange for amnesty now can be summed up in one simple phrase: "Really, Charlie Brown, I won't pull the football away this time."

Have you seen the latest about the current "border wall". They can raise a panel with a car jack and come right over. Seems the designer and builders were all dumber than dirt! The border must not be easily manipulated. Did they think the illegals are as dumb as they? Obviously. Lived in Mexico for years - there are jobs, just no freebies and passes to pass jail and get a free pass. They do not come as engineers or other professionals to add to the country. They come as unwanted guests to eat our dinner!

Apart from finding out that Barack Obama did far worse in his re-election than nearly any other incumbent who won re-election, the only thing that perked me up after Nov. 6 was coming across a Time magazine published after the 2004 election, when George W. Bush won a second term.

In the mirror image of all the 2012 post-election analyses, the Democrats were said to be finished, out of ideas, hopelessly unpopular. It's like watching MSNBC, with the word "Democrats" replaced with "Republicans."
