This is true, however the president doesn't control anything, he just does what he is told. US foreign policy has been the same for the past 60 years regardless of whether the president was a Republican or Democrat. Ask yourself why is this the case?

Rick Perry is probably the dumbest politician I've heard in my entire lifetime. The fact that this man is a governor just goes to show you how far the US has fallen. We could definitely do that, but you do also realize they could sink an aircraft carrier with a single missile right? They could easily fire 100 missiles at an aircraft carrier and kill 5,000 people. If Russia had invaded Canada & Mexico and had bases in both of those countries and the Caribbean and a fleet of ships in the Gulf of Mexico, what would the US do? The US and Israel are imposing sanctions and threatening to pre-emptively attack Iran. Both of those are an act of war. Iran hasn't invaded a country in 200 years or more.

If Romney is the nominee, then I will stay home too because the GOP doesn't deserve to win. Their pathetic pick of McCain in the last election is why Obama is president in the first place.
