The Most Important Event At Either Convention

my father comes to mind. I'm 44 and I only recently learned that my dad prays. I knew he went to church every week but I had no idea he prays, I was surprised. I imagine millions of other Americans out there that sincerely believe but you'd never know because they never talk about it. Then I hear the political-religious people, and it is utter phoniness. Ever hear Prager talk about religion on the radio? Phony! He once had this supposed Bible expert come on and talk about Bible verses in the most laughably partisan way. The Bible supposedly justified the most pettty tax policies of the Republicans. I don't remember exactly, it might have been Romney's 25% corporate tax rate was more biblical than Obama's 28% rate.

And the Democratic Party has evolved over the last half century from a liberal party into a leftist one -- so much so that it is now indistinguishable from any of the leftist parties in Western Europe.

Yes, Franklin D. Roosevelt was a left-wing president -- as concerned...
