I thought I would chime in on this. I'm part of RAFT (Residents Against Fracking Tioga) [NY] just to let you know how I stand on the issue. I wanted to say something about Under the Surface, Tom Wilber's book on the fracking debate that has gone on for the last five years, specifically the Twin Tiers of NY and PA. I'll be submitting a review of the book soon, but I wanted to leave one passage from the book for comment. If the people who sued Cabot in Dimock are just a bunch of "ambulance chasers", why did Terry Engelder make this comment: “It takes the industry a considerable length of time to go through the process of learning how to do it right. Clearly Dimock was a case study of how not to do it.” (p. 218)
