In response to:

BEWARE: No-Knock SWAT Attacks

Our police departments have become OVER militarized and look more like Jack booted Gestapo SS Thugs than law enforcement. It's TIME to DISBAND the SWAT teams and strip them of their vests, boots, helmets and ASSAULT rifles. Take away their fancy Military vehicles also. They WERE formed in response to Armed Drug gangs, but are NOW used for everything including Over due Library books. AND they frequently get the WRONG address.

Correcting this problem requires the following actions:

1. Repeal several different laws that allow the SWAT teams to continue doing this.
2. Disarm the Local Police of all Military Weapons and equipment, Especially tanks and Personnel carriers.

3. Restore Posse Comitatus, carefully clarifying what it means.
4. Pass a Constitutional Amendment to Article 4, Section 4, (the Guarantee Clause), which guarantees (although today's New American Gestapo don't believe it), a republican form of government to us.

For an excellent, full definition of this clause, please refer to the Heritage Foundation's online Guide to the Constitution.

If only we could find prospective representatives and senators who truly believe in protecting, preserving, and defending the true spirit of the Constitution, We the People could put an end to this insanity.

Oh yes, we also need a President who truly believes in what the Constitution and the Bill of Rights stand for.

Sadly, I don't know it there are any such candidates for any of these 3 important Offices who'd be willing to truly Stand for Liberty and Justice for All, instead of Falling for Socialism and Fascism.

Do You?

Would add:
Time to know your neighbors. If you know they are good folk, then call all other neighbors, surround the swat team and demand a pullback until we the neighbors have our own review. Until we the people become united again, it will be "law enforcement" against the individual. Technically the law is in our hands and we can make a citizens arrest of any suspect including police, swat etc. Do we have the guts to become local neighborhood groups to re-establish our rights?

Have to remember that these armed "team" have proliferated throughout our government. Seems like every department has their own group of privately controlled heavily armed and armored enforcers, and even less knowledge and respect for the Constitution than plain vanilla police.
