Mr Carter allowed the slaughter of over 1 million Cambodians on the killing fields because he was a pacifist and puppet. I do appreciate his desire for peace, but sitting by during the slaughter is inexcusable.

If it was paranoia, it was well-founded. Today's government underscores the need for the second Amendment.

Mdm Hillary Clinton would not agree with you Mr Buchanan. That is why she personally influenced Fast and Furious and why she advocates for a UN treaty against personal weapons. Her position is in violation of the US Constitution second amendment, in violation of her oath of office to protect it. The second Amendment is written so that citizens have the right to protect themselves from abusive governments.

Remember it was done in consultation with the Obama transition team then when he took office O totally distanced himself and said it was the last guy's issue... and promptly proceeded to add $4 trillion to deficit

The global warming myth results in people dying... just look at how ill prepared Europe is for the cold weather and the fatalities caused by hypothermia. 20% unemployment is 8 % when you only count the last half of year... and who is WE. It is not We the People of the United States... We the people want our freedoms back and less government. We can create our own jobs, we do not need THEM to be our nanny.

Not liberal or conservative, but American for American freedoms and our Constitution rather than a dictatorship or oligarchy that is currently in place.

The reason that he mandates is because he mandates. That is called fascism by any other term. He and his 2009 crony Congress forced the legislation and then he used executive fiat to force regulations by-passing Congress. He knows that the court process takes time to challenge, takes valuable resources away from the process of governing. He knows that. If we looked further then we might find at the root of the reason is treason.

Ron Paul: Reactionary or Visionary

The threat from is Iran using a nuke is real, but begs the question of who provided the technology and who provided the centrifuges leads to the North and to Europe. Then the question is with all the hi tech gadgetry there are ways to subdue the nuclear technology/threat without entering Iran. Invading Iran is not necessary unless someone wants to eliminate one of the last remaining threats to S. Arabia. The larger threat to the United States Constitution and the American people are those senior officials in the State Department who undermine the Constitution, give secret technology to non-allies, and who promote treaty making with the UN while denying US Sovereignty. I am against attacking Iran. The Rhodes scholars are a threat.
