Companies, yes. But sports teams arent companies....and they dont "hire" from the general public. You get the best player for the job - and black men are infinitely physically superior to white men. Deandre always likes to say about black guys: "We were born to lose but built to win".

Hmmmmm... and shouldn't companies also be allowed to hire the BEST PERSON for the job instead of being forced to fill positions in accordance with affirmative action?

Black men are infinitely superior to white men? That, EBR, is racist.

Of course I'm sure my entire comment is racist, full of racially charged dog whistles, no doubt!

Really? Just because you you can sprint & bounce or throw a ball? Is that why most Navy SEALs are white males, e.g., the best swimmers still happen to be white? White man may not be able to jump, but apparently hyphenated-Americans sink.

And the same logic can't be applied to companies,ie., hiring the smartest employees? Ever look @ an IQ distribution according to ethnicity? Do you notice White males still dominate the STEM professions? Do you notice that hyphenated-American males still continue to have the lowest average SAT/ACT scores?

You must be just another typical hyphenated-American. So how is life on the "Plantation"?

You are as dense as a block of granite.

Sports teams ARE COMPANIES. how utterly devoid of knowledge can you be?

Businesses also hire "the best player for the job".

They don't give jobs away by lottery. They choose the best people based on their qualifications.

I just got a "thanks but no thanks" email about my application to work the hunting/fishing/firearms section of the new *Richard's* Sporting Goods store in the next town. I know my guns, but I'm not a hunter or a fisherman so I undoubtedly lost out for being less qualified than other applicants.

Its exactly the same as if I missed a sports team for not running as fast or throwing as well as another player.

If you think ANY business will not hire the best they can, you are obviously a fool.

Thumper the Rabbit's parents always taught him, "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all." If the left's self-appointed Omniscient Diviners of True Meaning have their way, conservatives in the public square won't be left with anything at all to say. Ever.

It's a treacherous business exercising your freedom of speech in the age of Obama. As a public service, I present to you: "The 2012 Condensed Liberal Handbook of Racial Code Words." Decoder rings, activate!
