Some Very Political Science

I've know gay people who are the most non-violent, sensitive, unassuming, non pious, caring and nice people I've ever known. I currently know a lesbian couple who have adopted a beautiful baby from a broken home where that baby would have grown up hugry and probably destitute......no future. No she has a chance with a family that loves her just as much as I love my kids. I refuse to hear anything different. I could care less how they live their lives. I care more about the hell economy out last president gave us.

The sad thing that you are overlooking is that these people are experminting with another human life.
Further more you can not tell what the future held for that child. That child may have been a day away from being adopted by Bill Gates. In the Natural world gays do not procreate so eventually they are weeded out from the species. Gay is not natural.

I second Mark's reply to ELViking. Maybe two mommies will be nice for the child, or maybe they'll push a little boy towards gender reassignment or a little girl into their own lifestyle. We have no way of knowing.

But, I strongly suspect that twenty-plus years after homosexual adoption becomes normative, the lawyers will have a field day with scads of young adults coming out of the woodwork with unhappy tales of growing up buggered, for there will be gazillions (unscientific conservative speaking) to be made suing every institution that made such a state of affairs possible.

Or maybe a straight Mommy will drive her SUV filled with kids into a river and kill them.

The news is stuffed with "studies" in which "experts" tell us how we should behave. One recently found that conservatives have lost their trust in science over the last 40 years. That's probably because the very political academics of science are routinely summoned to prove the right-wingers are not only wrong but dangerously wrong and not just dangerously wrong but evil, too.

These studies are laughable.

First, there was the study purporting to prove that conservatism appeals to low-intelligence racists "who have trouble grasping the complexity of the world." Then there was the scientific study that parents should...
