In response to:

An Open Letter to Post-Abortive Women

The same religion that murdered native Americans and slaughtered the Mayans in the name of God is the same one that wants to call you a murderer for making a choice about your own body. Again, if you are of age to go kill for this country, you are capable of treating your body however you see fit.........fetus inside or not.

ELViking, you sound very angry. War has absolutely nothing to do with abortion. If you do not want to go to war, don't go. I will also remind you that the Aztecs went to war for the purpose of bringing sacrifices for their God Huitzilipochtli. If you are looking for "innocent civilizations".............good luck. Also, babies that are aborted got the "death penalty." What crime did they commit?

Please stop confusing Catholicism with Christianity as a whole. You are blaming all Christians for the actions of one misguided group. Catholicism was one of many religions that followed the Bible.

In addition, Christ had nothing to do with the priests/missionaries that were driven by evil...they just used Him and the Catholic Church for a cover. It wasn't ever part of his teachings or part of the first church. Evil does not care who it uses...but it does appreciate you spreading it's lies.

And no, women do NOT have the right to treat their fetus however they wish. I know you want to believe that because it relieves you of responsibility. Your excuses are childish and selfish.

Pull your head out of your butt viking, you are a selfish soul!

Accusing religion of crimes does not erase the fact that abortion=murder.

The Maya died out long before the Conquistadors came to America. I think you're referring to the Aztec. And most of the murder of the Native Americans was a result of small pox and not direct murder. That did happen, but not on the scale of the small pox plague. I don't think you can make effective arguments by using erroneous facts.

The Mayas have hardly died out...ask my Mayan neighbors. There was even a Mayan nation, generally known as Chan Santa Cruz, in what is now Quintana Roo, for about 50 years in the 19th Century.

Once again. Prove to me that child is part of her Mom's body. I will cite genetics (different DNA) obstetrics (purposeful movement, separate circulatory system, labor initiated by the baby) ultrasound imaging, hard science. Not one Bible verse. Therefore, abortion is some kind of homicide (killing a person) and we do not permit that because they are sick or we don't want them around.
Again, the crux of the argument is the baby. Prove to me- or you are doing what the worst people do- call it an N word, call it an Ausmensch and do what you want to it. I won't say you are those people, but prove your case.

I write these words chiefly to women and girls who have had an abortion. Still, it is my humble hope and honest prayer that anyone weighing this life-versus-death choice might also read them with an open mind and a hearing heart.

I share these truths in love. Some of you already know them. Others deny them.

Yet truths they remain.

It is through obedience to Christ and in the authority of His Spirit that I write you this letter. It may be difficult to read, but I pray you will read it.

First, let us dispense with the oft-asserted notion that,...
