Are there NO conservatives in the Senate? This nominee needs a tooth-and-nail Borking if ever a candidate did. I want to see the Republicans put up one hell of a fight, even if they lose. Maybe it'll send the message to the White House that the next nominee is going to get more of the same and worse.
About the two-thousand-year-old dead guy: I converted to Christianity some 35 years ago and have thought a lot about this man during that time. The Jesus Seminar agreed that what we have in the gospels is the merest whisper of the voice of Jesus, and facts on the ground about him are few to non-existent.
