Three Nobel winners currently listed on faculty at Harvard in the Physics Department. The only one with 2 PhD's is professor emeritus at Harvard. Currently at University of Arizona, most likely not on the payroll of Harvard. Of course a Nobel Prize is not what it used to be, Al Gore for pseudo science and Obama for being liberal. Interestingly one of the others signed the Humanist Manifesto.

I have never met a "non-gifted child". Gifts must be discovered. That takes time, effort and love.

Apparently, most public school teachers lack sufficient ability to teach children, check the rankings of public school children in the areas of math and science. Homeschooling is often 'home directed" education. My kids are enrolled in college, earning dual credit for High School. My daughter has a great deal of compassion for some of her older classmates. Many of which graduated high school without the ability to form a sentence or paragraph.
