The Wall Street Journal confirms that many colleges are adjusting their admissions policies to homeschoolers: Many colleges now routinely accept homeschooled students, who typically present “portfolios” of their work instead of transcripts. Each year Harvard University takes up to 10 applicants who have had some homeschooling. “In general, those kids do just fine,” says David Illingsworth, senior admissions officer. He adds that the number of applications and inquiries from homeschoolers is “definitely increasing.”2

Three Nobel winners currently listed on faculty at Harvard in the Physics Department. The only one with 2 PhD's is professor emeritus at Harvard. Currently at University of Arizona, most likely not on the payroll of Harvard. Of course a Nobel Prize is not what it used to be, Al Gore for pseudo science and Obama for being liberal. Interestingly one of the others signed the Humanist Manifesto. http://www.metro.us/boston/local/article/1134322--student-group-coordinates-harvard-s-first-sex-week

Seriously doubt that a professor at Harvard Medical really cares if any of his students were home schooled prior to earning a undergrad degree.
