Sounds to me like a weask effort from the Romney camp to discredit Nobama just prior to the elections. "NO" I'm neither Rep. or Dem. just an individual that is sick & tired of all the mud slinging between parties. ONE BIG JOKE..........................

Mr. Cannon has been reporting on Obamacare for CATO, and he is just as critical of RomneyCare. Being part of libertarian CATO, he's reporting from the context of our individual freedom. This doesn't arise from the Romney camp. This is about what the law says. After all, Pelosi was the one who said, "we'll have to pass it find out what's in it." If they passed a law they don't like, then they should have read the bill before voting on it.

The issue Canon brings up, is the rule of law. The Executive branch (nor any other) can change the law without passing another bill. Or perhaps you'd prefer that bureaucrats can change the law when they like, regardless of what our representatives say. That's a prescription for losing the rule of law.

Actually it sounds like an effort by elected representatives to do their job and support the rule of law. What I am sick and tired of is plebians like you attempting to dismiss every viloation of law commited by this administration with a cry of "partisanship". Partisanship is the Democrats supporting a man for President that has doubled the national debt, attempted to sign away Constitutional Rights via International Treaty, gone to war without Congressional Approval in clear violation of the War Powers Act, aided countries being taken over by Muslim Militants from leaders who were our allies while refusing to lend a hand with the revolution in Iran that would have put a secular government in charge, and who sent a man to die in Lybia.

Puh-leez! Don't be so openminded that your brains fall out, 'kay?

You have that backwards, Elmer. The idea the administration had was to allow, in direct violation of statute, the Federal government to subsidize insurance on exchanges not created by a state. As the legislation is written, the government is not allowed to subsidize insurance in strictly Federal exchanges.

The administration is trying to hide that fact until after the elections. So much of this administration has been "button, button, who has the button".

If you dislike partisanship so much why are you here, Mr. Concern Troll? Go Away.

Last Friday, House Oversight Committee chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and colleagues sent a letter to Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Douglas Shulman accusing Treasury of “either willfully misleading the Committee or…purposefully withholding information that is essential to the Committee’s oversight effort.”

As Jonathan Adler and I document in our forthcoming Health Matrix article, “Taxation Without Representation: The Illegal IRS Rule to Expand Tax Credits Under the PPACA,” the IRS has announced it will impose ObamaCare’s taxes on employers and individuals whom Congress expressly exempted from those taxes, and will send...
