I'm definitely an Anybody But Obama voter. IMO the biggest mistake we conservatives make is once any Republican is in the White House, we defend him, right or wrong. It's time we not just elect, but put pressure on our own. We did it over Harriet Miers, and we made Bush back down and give us a really good Supreme Court nominee instead. Why didn't we bring pressure like that to bear on Bush in other areas instead of going along with HIS overspending because he was our guy? For that matter he himself did it, refusing to veto anything a "Republican" congress sent him. Yes, I'll vote for a decent human being with a track record of success, and it will be the first time since Reagan my presidential vote won't require nose holding.

Let’s assume that you stridently oppose the reelection of President Obama but you are just not sold on Governor Romney, the presumptive Republican candidate. Do you vote for Romney, since “anyone is better than Obama,” or do you chart a very different course, even sacrificing this election for the long term sake of the country?
