One thing Republicans should do is to separate border security from illegal immigration. With 20,000 or so of Khadaffi's shoulder-fired missiles missing from Libya and terrorists dedicated to killing Americans, can we afford a porous border to our south? I think not. Republicans should make securing the border about security, not immigration. If the border is secure then the illegal immigration problem will solve itself in time.

And just where do YOU think those shoulder fired missiles cam from? Some 75% of all military arms of all stripe and type currently infesting dictator regimes within the Middle East and Africa are sold to such 'nations' by countries in Europe, North Korea, Pakistan and others.

On Saturday I will be debating Mark Kirkorian on immigration policy before the National Review Institute.
