Coulter: Republicans Should Cave on Tax Hikes Because "We Lost the Election"

Therein lies the problem with Republicans, but for polls they would have no guiding principles. If the problem is debt and deficits then the solution is a balanced budget. Republicans don't stand for that, which would be a principled stand that could be maintained. Nope. They stand for raising taxes -- Boehner gave that up before negotiations began -- and hoping to get some spending concessions from Obama. None of it fixes the problem. As long as Republicans are light weight Democrat wannabes they will lose.

Hannity to Coulter: "You sound like Obama." Fightin' words:

SH: So are you saying that, for PR purposes, that they should give in to Obama on the tax rate?
AC: Not exactly, I--Well, yeah, I guess I am.
SH: You're saying capitulate to Obama? We don't have a revenue problem, Ann.
AC: We lost the election, Sean.

Hannity seems genuinely flummoxed by Coulter's capitulatory attitude, but does she have a point?  Recent polling has been gruesome...
