Then you're saying blacks are racist?

After I dashed off the previous comment, I realized that you were not calling my comments "racist," so I apologize for being off the mark on it. Nonetheless, the facts I cited are still valid.

If you consider my observation "racist," then so were the observations of political pundits across the board in 2008, when they predicted wins for Obama in states such as Louisiana, South Carolina, and North Carolina because of the large numbers of black voters. (And subsequently Obama received 90%, 78%, and 91%, respectively, of the black vote in those states.) Those assumptions were NEVER described as racist, nor were the assumers accused of calling blacks racist.

Blacks are more racist over any one else. They thrive on it, and the blame game. They assume ZERO responsibility for their actions! They are taught this from Al Sharpton, Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, NAACP and Obama. They are preached Violence, Hatred, Racist, Irresponsible, are ok. Let the government take care of you. We are owed it. The blacks have had and still getting more help than anyone else. No other minority like orientals, Asians, Jews, etc get ZERO assistance, and have and are living through more Hel* than the blacks could dream of. The democrats are keeping you DOWN. Wake up!

President Obama's affirmation of gay marriage threatens to undermine the near-monolithic black support Obama enjoyed in 2008. Several members of the black clergy now say they intend to sit out the presidential election. One poll from last November found black opposition to gay marriage at 58 percent, higher than the rest of the country, which is about evenly split.

The real question is this: What took black church leaders so long to reconsider their near blind support for the Democratic Party?

The historical strength of black churches has been that of a moral and spiritual refuge in a once-hostile country...
