I can only hope that the laziness of the 50% who don't pay taxes will translate to laziness in voting. Mitt Romney would be a steady hand at the wheel of the nation. He will make some things easier, some things harder, but I know he will know how to cut government spending and how to manage a budget.

Now that Rick Santorum has "suspended" his campaign, we can stop pretending and can say what has been clear for weeks: Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee for president. The general election campaign has begun.
